Jones Hits in 30 Consecutive Games Friday, April 18th, 2025 Every day everyone is checking up on Jim Jones to see if he got a hit to keep his hitting streak alive. Today's answer is "yes." He did it with a 2-for-6 day against the Chieftans. The Spanish Fork HS first baseman stretched the streak to 30 games in his team's 13-4 triumph over the Masconomet HS Chieftans at Mount Pleasant HS Grounds. Jim Jones grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off David Wilson in the 6th, struck out in the 7th and struck out in the 9th. So far on the season Jones is hitting .357 with 5 home runs, 23 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 25 hits and played in 17 games. |
