Vernon Sterling Hurt, Out 5-6 Months Monday, May 19th, 2025 Team doctors diagnosed Vernon Sterling with a broken kneecap and told the Boston College Eagles first baseman that he will miss 5-6 months. Sterling was hurt being hit by a pitch in a game against the Virginia Tech Hokies. This year Sterling is batting .292 with 50 hits, 21 home runs, 67 RBIs, 43 walks, .442 OBP and has scored 43 runs. |
