SP Carlos Sierra Hurt Friday, May 16th, 2025 Earlier today, Utah starting pitcher Carlos Sierra had to leave the game against Southern California because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a torn triceps and will miss 4 months of play. Sierra was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. Season-to-date Sierra has rung up 1 win and 2 losses in 9 appearances. He has an ERA of 5.31 and has fanned 41 batters in 39 innings. |
