David Fletcher Hurt, Out 17 Months Sunday, May 4th, 2025 Arizona State fans held their breath as David Fletcher left yesterday's Fighting Illini-Sun Devils contest with an injury. After the game, the team's medical staff said that the 20-year-old reliever had suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. It's estimated that he will be out 17 months. So far this year Fletcher has delivered no saves. In 14 relief appearances he has 15 strikeouts in 16.2 innings with a 6.48 ERA and 2 wins and 2 losses. |
