Injury Takes Toll, Dillon Mitchell Out Thursday, April 10th, 2025 The Hokies received bad news this morning. Dillon Mitchell will miss 12 months due to a damaged elbow ligament. He sustained the injury in the Virginia Tech-Vanderbilt game while throwing a pitch. "I'm disappointed more than anything," he told reporters later in the day. "You can't help your team on the bench," Mitchell sighed. "I'll do the rehab work and hope for a quick recovery." |
