Wild Card Clinched by Purdue Tuesday, May 28th, 2024 It was no easy task for the Purdue Boilermakers to capture a wild card spot, but the team's players can now breathe easy, knowing they will be a part of the College Baseball postseason. "They made us work for it. There aren't many easy games in the NCAA," said closer José Mejía. "We would have liked to have won our way into the playoffs sooner, but we'll take it." The team's record currently sits at 29-22 and they will be vying for the 1st College Baseball championship in franchise history. |
