Mississippi State Bulldogs Guaranteed Top Spot in NCAA SEC - West Tuesday, May 21st, 2024 The champagne was flowing in the Mississippi State Bulldogs clubhouse today, as men quickly transformed into boys with the realization that the club had clinched the NCAA SEC - West. "We can relax a bit, for now anyway," said manager Bill Phillips. "I'm proud of every guy in the room for what we've done this season." The club has a 34-13 record as they head towards the playoffs in search of their 1st CWS Championship championship. First Baseman Ken McDonald said the team is happy to clinch what is the club's 3rd division title, but "wouldn't be happy until we're lifting that trophy." |
