Volunteers Come up Short of Playoffs Tuesday, May 21st, 2024 The Tennessee Volunteers bid for a postseason berth came to a close today. The club has been mathematically eliminated and the team's manager said players on the team are taking it pretty hard. Tennessee last appeared in the postseason in 2020. This is their 4th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 14 times in their 17-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Volunteers have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
