Utes Franco Out of Action Saturday, May 18th, 2024 Utes starting pitcher Reynaldo Franco will be spending 4 months on the shelf according to his manager. He was hurt in a recent game against Auburn throwing a pitch and suffered elbow inflammation. The Utah GM told BNN no decision had been made on his replacement. He said an announcement was forthcoming, probably tomorrow. On the season Franco has compiled a 2-3 mark with a 4.83 ERA in 9 starts. In pitching 50.1 innings he has 46 strikeouts and 23 walks while limiting the opposition to a .241 batting average. |
