5-for-5 Game for Simmons Saturday, May 11th, 2024 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Ohio State's Thomas Simmons had a very special day against the Sooners when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Ohio State Buckeyes to a 13-12 win at Bill Davis Stadium. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Simmons said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Thomas Simmons hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, walked in a run in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Simmons is currently batting .271 with 5 home runs and 22 RBIs. |
