No Hits for Harris, Streak Ends at 25 Wednesday, May 1st, 2024 The Georgia Bulldogs lost to the Iowa State Cyclones 8-2 today at Foley Field, but perhaps the bigger news was the end of Nick Harris's 25-game hitting streak. "We felt if we could slow down Harris, we would win the game," the Cyclones manager explained. "They really seemed to feed off his streak, so we tried to put more emphasis on shutting him down." A look at his current stats shows Harris with a .415 average, 4 home runs, 20 RBIs and 24 runs scored. He has played in 28 games. |
