Sledgehammers Right Fielder Salazar Injured Saturday, May 31st, 2025 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Sledgehammers when after today's game against the Cougars, the club found out they would be without the services of Júlio Salazar for at least 8-9 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Salazar was injured earlier today making a defensive play and suffered a sore knee. For the year Salazar is batting .210 with 1 home run, 11 RBIs and 23 runs scored. |
