Alexander Slaps 5 Hits Sunday, May 11th, 2025 Ben Alexander really sizzled at the plate today. In a game played at Filibertos Field, the Surrey first baseman blistered the Chula Vista Tacos for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a 6-4 victory. "Alexander was too tough to get out today," the Tacos skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Ben Alexander doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This season Alexander is hitting at a .308 pace with 1 home run, 10 RBIs and has scored 10 times. |
