Hogs Romero Named APL's #1 Player Monday, May 26th, 2025 Appalachian League pitchers will attest that it was tough to get Domingo Romero of the Savannah Hogs out last week. His all-around performance at the plate made him the league's most recent Player of the Week. The 20-year-old second baseman boasted a .467 average with 1 home run, 6 RBIs and 9 runs scored. Romero went 14-for-30 for the week. Romero is currently batting .304 with 6 home runs and 41 RBIs. |
