González Selected APL's Top Pitcher Saturday, October 12th, 2024 21-year-old Júlio González of the Dunedin Blue Jays put together a good year in 2024 for such a young player. González was named today as the winner of the Appalachian League Outstanding Pitcher Award. González crafted an impressive 13-7 record and a 2.61 ERA. In 183 innings he allowed 128 hits, struck out 242, and walked 63. Gustavo Rodríguez of the Dunedin Blue Jays finished second in voting, while José Salinas of the Dunedin Blue Jays finished third. |
