APL Announces Player of the Week Monday, September 8th, 2025 Pitchers who faced the Beaverton Bronze Souls last week were happy to see Juan Becerra in the rear view mirror. The 21-year-old shortstop was dubbed the Appalachian League Player of the Week for a 7-game tear that saw him hit at a .486 clip. For the week he also chalked up 17 hits in 35 at-bats, no home runs, 9 RBIs and 13 runs scored. Becerra is hitting at a .291 mark this season. His stats show 4 home runs, 62 RBIs and 104 runs scored. He has played 140 games for the Bronze Souls. |
