Cisco López Hurt, Out of Action Saturday, August 23rd, 2025 Assassins starting pitcher Cisco López will be spending 11 months on the shelf according to his manager. He was hurt in a recent game against State College throwing a pitch and suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. The Athens GM told BNN no decision had been made on his replacement. He said an announcement was forthcoming, probably tomorrow. Presently López has a 6-3 mark in 2 starts with a 8.66 ERA. He has given up 121 hits in 87.1 innings, struck out 61 and issued 73 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .337 batting average against him. |
