Calvin Snyder out 11 Months With Injury Friday, August 1st, 2025 Watching Calvin Snyder getting helped off the field today at Pilot Field, fans of the Montgomery Grey Sox feared the worst. The news wasn't quite as bad as initially feared, but the starting pitcher will miss 11 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. "We feel we've dodged a bullet. When you see a guy break down like that, you worry right away," a team spokesman said. Snyder suffered the injury throwing a pitch in the game against the Pilots. To date Snyder is 3-0 in 0 starts with a 2.31 ERA and has 37 strikeouts in 39 innings. |
