Reyes Strokes 5 Hits
Sunday, June 29th, 2025
5 times is a charm -- at least in the world of baseball. When a player gets 5 or more hits in a game, he is honored in the record book and the latest honoree is Carlos Reyes of the Scottsdale Scorpions. He tore up the Savannah Hogs to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the Scottsdale 14-3 win today at Stade Beaulac. "Reyes was a tough out today," the Savannah manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Carlos Reyes singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
To date Reyes has chalked up a .412 average with 8 home runs, driven in 64 runs and scored 68 times.
