Pearson Midwest League's Hottest Hitter Monday, June 9th, 2025 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Midwest League, but last week Mike Pearson of the Erie Jaxx reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Pearson rocked opposing pitching for a .391 average (9-for-23), 3 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. Presently Pearson is batting .256 with 4 home runs and 22 RBIs. He has played in 43 games and scored 21 times. |
