MSL Player of the Week Selected Monday, August 25th, 2025 Pitchers who faced the Manhatten Meatheads last week were happy to see Claudio Gonzáles in the rear view mirror. The 21-year-old catcher was dubbed the Midwest League Player of the Week for a 6-game tear that saw him hit at a .391 clip. For the week he also chalked up 9 hits in 23 at-bats, 4 home runs, 9 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far this season Gonzáles is batting .270 with 14 home runs, 57 RBIs and 50 runs scored. He has 103 hits in 381 at-bats, 53 walks and a .374 OBP. Gonzáles has played in 113 games. |
