No Hits for Sánchez, Streak Ends at 24 Wednesday, September 17th, 2025 His run was over, but a Rio Grande victory took some of the disappointment out of Luis Sánchez losing his 24-game hitting streak. The 21-year-old shortstop did not get a hit in 2 at-bats, but the Rattlesnake whipped the Butler White Sox 5-3 today at Le Parc. For the year Sánchez has hit .304 with 24 home runs, 89 RBIs and scored 127 runs. |
