Gainesville's Scott Out 6-7 Months Sunday, May 25th, 2025 "I'm frustrated right now," said Gainesville reliever Mike Scott. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Guidos, that's where he will be spending 6-7 months. Scott suffered a fractured elbow in today's game against Memphis while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." To this point in the season he has had 1 save. Scott has made 18 relief appearances, tossed 12 innings and struck out 9 with a record of 3 wins and no losses. |
