Tuesday, October 21st, 2025
He's in the early phase of his career, but this past season Carlos Pacheco performed like a veteran on the hill for the Bismarck Barons and walked away with the Northwest League Outstanding Pitcher Award in the process.
The 23-year-old Barons star fashioned a 12-5 won-loss record in 2025 with a 2.34 ERA. In 134.2 innings of work and 22 starts, Pacheco struck out 172 while giving up 112 hits and 28 walks. He held opposing batters to a .224 average.
Stu Creichton of the Riverside Red Bulls finished second in voting, while Ray McIntyre of the Bismarck Barons finished third.
