Culver City's Howard Down with Injury Sunday, September 1st, 2024 It took the Culver City team doctor a while to realize it, but first baseman Larry Howard won't simply play through a ruptured medial collateral ligament after he got hurt running the bases in today's Ghostbusters-Extras game. At first, it looked like Howard might be back as early as tomorrow, but now the prognosis isn't quite so good; he's expected to miss at least 10 months. In the 2024 season Howard is hitting .339 with 21 home runs. |
