Red Deer RP Collins Will Miss 13 Months Sunday, July 27th, 2025 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against San Diego Smashers, Wranglers reliever Allen Collins was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 13 months with a damaged elbow ligament. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Red Deer skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. To date this year Collins has fashioned a 4.83 ERA over 132.1 innings with a 7-8 record. He has made no relief appearances with 116 strikeouts and no saves. |
