Herrera Picked Best Player Monday, August 11th, 2025 José Herrera must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .435 clip, then the Mile High left fielder finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the PCL Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Herrera batted .435 (10-for-23) with 4 home runs and 7 RBIs. For the year Herrera has hit .284 with 31 home runs, 72 RBIs and scored 73 runs. |
