Pitcher of the Month Named in PCL Friday, August 1st, 2025 Don Barnes took a much-deserved turn in the spotlight earlier today as he accepted the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Month award for July. The 26-year-old Vipers starter is a relative newcomer to the league, but nonetheless racked up an impressive 5-0 won-lost record in 6 starts. This month he fanned 44 batters in 40.1 innings and compiled a 1.79 ERA. Barnes has gone 9-1 this season with an ERA of 3.18 and 94 strikeouts in 99 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .244 against him. |
