Streak Finally Over, Olivas Held Hitless Saturday, September 20th, 2025 All good things must come to an end -- and so it was today for Felipe Olivas as he saw his 27-game hitting streak end. He went hitless in 3 at-bats at the hands of the X-Wings. It wasn't all bad for the 27-year-old shortstop and the Trenton Stars, as they defeated Detroit 6-5 at Trenton Stadium. When asked about his hitting streak, a smiling Olivas laughed and said, "I guess my luck ran out today." In 150 games this season Olivas is batting .293 with 179 hits and 4 home runs. He has scored 94 runs and driven in 67. |
