Martínez Sticks it to ITL Pitchers Monday, August 25th, 2025 One of the league's most exciting young players, José Martínez of the Birmingham Barons earned himself International League Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 22-year-old third baseman had a lofty .444 average (12-for-27), collecting 5 home runs, 12 RBIs and 11 runs scored. Currently Martínez is hitting .372 and has collected 8 home runs, 20 RBIs and scored 21 times, while playing in 19 games. |
