Parkinson Slams 3 Homers for Hounds
Monday, August 18th, 2025
Indiana third baseman Clint Parkinson sensed he was going to have a good game at the plate, but he underestimated just a little bit. Prior to the game, Parkinson predicted he would hit a home run against the Allentown Hillbillies.
During batting practice he told his teammates, "I really got my swing down pat. I feel some thunder in the lumber. I'm gonna get me a home run in this game." He was right. He did hit a home run -- three of them, in fact -- pacing the Hounds over the Hillbillies 10-8.
"I was seeing good, feeling good and swinging good," Parkinson told reporters after the game.
To go along with the homers, he collected 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs.
Clint Parkinson hit a solo-shot off Carlos García in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Carlos García in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Carlos García in the 4th, walked in the 6th and walked in a run in the 7th.
Parkinson currently has a .297 batting average with 74 hits, 17 homers, 56 RBIs, 42 runs scored and a .330 OBP.
