Drake Put in Cooler, Hitless Against Richmond Monday, July 14th, 2025 Ryan Drake of the Topeka Tornados came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 5 at-bats. That put a quick end to his 29-game hitting streak. To make matters even worse, Topeka dropped the game to the Richmond Flairs 8-5. In a postgame comment Drake told the press, "It was not a good day today. We lost the game and the streak is over." In his season totals Drake has 3 home runs and a .325 batting average. |
