Dale 5-for-6 for Clams Thursday, July 3rd, 2025 Cape Cod second baseman Ed Dale really lit up the Amarillo Archdukes with a 5-hit barrage today at The Lair in Charlotte -- a performance that sparked the Clams to a 29-6 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game and said, "Sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Ed Dale hit a two-run double in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, walked in the 8th and walked in the 9th. To date this year Dale is batting .269 with 3 home runs. |
