Escobar Named Top Reliever for CL Tuesday, November 18th, 2025 He may only be 26, but Cristián Escobar of the Seattle Pikes has already established himself as an elite Baseball Stars Association reliever. The reliever was today named the Continental League Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2025. He won the award with a strong year that saw him put up 45 saves in 69 relief appearances an 107 strikeouts in 81 innings. He had a record of 4-5 to go with his 1.22 ERA. Ramón Silva of the St. Louis Browns finished second in voting, while Francisco Ríos of the Greenville 84s finished third. |
