Derek Davidson Chosen CL's Premier Player
Tuesday, November 18th, 2025
The manager of the Springfield Stars said he thinks Derek Davidson is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 25, but it will be hard to top the right fielder's 2025 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Continental League MVP Award.
His winning campaign featured a .354 batting average and a .449 on-base percentage this year. In 157 games he piled up 207 hits, 42 doubles, 8 triples, 48 home runs, 154 RBIs and 135 runs scored.
Dave Dodd of the Jersey Shore D-Bags finished second in voting, while Mike Hill of the St. Louis Browns finished third.
