Greenville Advances to BSA Championship Wednesday, October 29th, 2025 The League Championship didn't live up to the billing from those who thought it would be an all-out battle to the very last game. But regardless, the Greenville 84s are no doubt pleased by the results, as they've knocked out the Toronto Titans 4-1 to advance to the BSA Championship. "It doesn't matter how you win it, as long as you win it and get yourself moving forward," said Jimmy Vickers. "I know a lot of people thought this was going to be a really tight series the whole way through, but we're glad it didn't go right down to the wire." Greenville won the final game by a 4-3 count at Mythology Coliseum. Vickers received the honor as series MVP, for hitting .444 with a .500 on-base percentage. He also had 5 home runs, drove in 11 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Greenville 84s don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Irvine Gang Green - Baffin Island Beavers series. Baffin Island leads the series 3 game to 1. The BSA Championship schedule will be announced after the League Championship finishes. |
