Pérez Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits Saturday, October 4th, 2025 Carlos Pérez had an answer for everything the Kansas City Kings threw him today in the Toronto 18-7 triumph at Mythology Coliseum. He made good contact 5 times and 5 times he drilled the ball for a base hit. The Toronto second baseman went 5 for 6 in the game to put his name in the record book. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Pérez said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Carlos Pérez hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. So far in 2025 Pérez is batting .302 with no home runs, 17 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has 57 hits in 189 at-bats and a .327 OBP. |
