Yoshihiro Hasegawa Out for 12-13 Months Thursday, September 18th, 2025
Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Birmingham Steeldogs, Rebels reliever Yoshihiro Hasegawa was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 12-13 months with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Boston skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow.
Hasegawa's record so far this season is 2-and-2 with 2 saves and a 6.33 ERA. He has given up 93 hits in 86.2 innings with 90 strikeouts.
