Super Swinger -- Zaragoza Slams 5 Hits Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 Pedro Zaragoza really sizzled at the plate in today's 16-4 win over Machine. The Austin left fielder blistered Chicago for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Zaragoza was too tough to get out today," the Machine skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Pedro Zaragoza flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Zaragoza is hitting .315 this year with 15 home runs, 66 RBIs and 58 runs scored. He has 144 hits in 457 at-bats, 34 walks and a .363 on-base percentage. Zaragoza has played in 119 games. |
