Red-Hot Qiao Scorches Rebels Friday, July 25th, 2025 "Ever since I picked up my first bat my coaches were always saying to keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing... just make contact and ya never know what'll happen," New York's Cheng-ho Qiao told reporters after the game. "That's all I did today. I made contact and it turned out well." It definitely turned out well for Qiao today as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats against Boston. It turned out well for his team, too, as the Knights knocked off the Rebels 20-5 at Fenway Park. Cheng-ho Qiao singled in the 2nd, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. Currently Qiao has 16 home runs and a .254 batting average. |
