Bad News for Golden Tornado, Blankenship Injured Friday, May 19th, 2023 "I'm frustrated right now," said Butler HS reliever Aaron Blankenship. "I can't help this team by sitting on the bench or in the training room." Unfortunately for the Golden Tornado, that's where he will be spending 5 months. Blankenship suffered shoulder inflammation in today's game against Maris School while throwing a pitch. "Believe me," he said, "I won't be out a day longer than I have to be." This year his season stats show Blankenship has no saves in 18 relief appearances with a 3-1 record and 5.40 ERA. |
