Davenport's Hit Streak Reaches 25 Games Saturday, April 29th, 2023 Win, lose or draw -- Tommy Davenport just keeps on getting base hits -- game after game after game. He has now stretched his hitting streak to 25 games. The Shelby HS Rockets left fielder picked up 1 hit in 3 at-bats today, but it wasn't enough to win the game. His club was defeated 9-6 by the Broken Arrow HS at Threshers Ballpark. Tommy Davenport singled in the 1st, was hit by a pitch in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. Posting a .582 batting average to date, Davenport has 11 home runs and 47 RBIs. |
