The manager of the Randall HS Raiders said he thinks Jake Reeves is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 16, but it will be hard to top the third baseman's 2024 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the High School Stars League Outstanding Hitter Award.

His winning campaign featured a .477 batting average and a .567 on-base percentage this year. In 37 games he piled up 73 hits, 10 doubles, 2 triples, 19 home runs, 50 RBIs and 50 runs scored.

Tommy Davenport of the Shelby HS Rockets finished second in voting, while Denny Poole of the Maris School finished third.
