Ferguson Has 32-Game Hitting Streak Sunday, May 12th, 2024 An opposing pitcher told BNN after the Billings West HS-Tacoma HS game today, "Millard Ferguson is hitting everything you throw at him. He is one tough out. Fortunately things went our way in the ballgame today and we came away with a 16-9 win. But Ferguson still continued his streak." The Torchmen third baseman now has hit safely in his last 32 games. He was 2-for-5 in today's contest. Millard Ferguson singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Javier Olivas in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and walked in the 9th. In this current campaign Ferguson is hitting at a .373 clip with 10 home runs and 42 RBIs. |
