Jackson Bashes 5 Base Hits Sunday, May 12th, 2024 It wasn't just another day at the ballpark for Ryan Jackson. It was a very special day, one that many players never experience. But he did. Jackson went on a tear and cracked hit after hit off Buchanan HS pitching. When the dust settled on the diamond at Lincolnville HS Fields, he had a career 5-for-5 day and something he will long remember. And the Maize HS had a 8-6 victory over the Buchanan HS. "Yeah, it'll be something nice to tell the grandkids, but it won't get me a hit tomorrow," he joked in the postgame interview. Ryan Jackson hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th. This season Jackson is batting at a .327 clip with 5 home runs and 44 RBIs. |
