Buchanan HS Win Tight High School Stars League Western Division Race Sunday, May 12th, 2024 Let loose, Buchanan HS fans, your team has won the High School Stars League Western Division. The Buchanan HS have officially captured the crown, the 2nd in franchise history. "We've got a team that can do it all and we think do it just as well as anyone in the league," said right fielder Jason Stover. "I hope no one is taking us lightly once the playoffs start." Certainly the team's division crown will garner them a fair bit of respect, as the 26-12 record puts the club in position for the franchise's 1st High School Stars League championship. "You never get tired of being in the playoffs," said manager Jesús Berino. "This is what you play for." |
