Raiders Lose Earl Godwin Tuesday, May 7th, 2024 The Randall HS Raiders learned that Earl Godwin is likely to be out for 4 months after he injured himself colliding with a player at a base in today's game against the Maize HS. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a fractured ankle. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Randall HS manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Earl is back in action." For the season Godwin has hit .225 with 4 home runs and 20 RBIs. He has played in 33 games and scored 33 times. |
