Bishop Gorman HS's Gibson Injured, Out of Lineup Tuesday, April 30th, 2024 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Dan Gibson of the Bishop Gorman HS knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Shelby HS Rockets while throwing a pitch. Because of a torn flexor tendon in his elbow, the Bishop Gorman HS starting pitcher is expected to miss 16-17 months. Gibson was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen."
