Billings West HS's Kennedy Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Monday, April 29th, 2024 5 hits in a game doesn't happen every day. Billings West HS's Spike Kennedy had a very special day against the Celtics when everything came together for him and he did just that -- collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Billings West HS Golden Bears to a 23-10 win at Jazz Ballpark. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Kennedy said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Spike Kennedy doubled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Miguel Muńóz in the 3rd, struck out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off António González in the 5th and singled in the 8th. So far this year Kennedy is batting .333 with 6 home runs. |
