Concepción Red-Hot, HSSL Player of the Week Monday, April 22nd, 2024 Esteban Concepción of the John Jay HS Patriots put the wraps on a fantastic week of play by being named the High School Stars League Player of the Week. The hot-hitting left fielder was a bonafide batting machine as he racked up 18 hits in 31 at-bats, 6 home runs, .581 BA, 17 RBIs, 19 runs, 7 walks and a .658 OBP. During the current season Concepción is batting at a .442 clip with 7 home runs and 30 RBIs. He has played in 20 games and scored 32 times. |
